Job description

As Exodigo expands our offering beyond subsurface utility mapping into a full suite of engineering services, we’re seeking a Strategic Pursuits Manager to play a pivotal role in helping us drive our next phase of growth and market expansion.

The Strategic Pursuits Manager is both a storyteller and strategist — someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, crafting winning strategies, and bringing together teams to deliver standout proposals that secure critical contracts. You will take ownership of developing compelling, data-driven, and client-focused proposals that clearly demonstrate Exodigo’s value to transit agencies, state Departments of Transportation, municipalities, public utilities, engineering firms, and contractors.

You will partner closely with sales, operations, legal, finance, and leadership to deeply understand each client’s challenges, align Exodigo’s technical and operational strengths to their goals, and translate that into persuasive narratives that win. Your creativity, strategic thinking, and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in ensuring the Pursuits Team — and Exodigo as a whole — meets and exceeds our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate cross-functionally and with external partners to develop strategies for winning high-stakes, competitive procurements;
  2. Write, review, proofread, and edit comprehensive long-form proposal submissions to potential partners, such as state Departments of Transportation, transit agencies, and utility companies;
  3. Communicate Exodigo’s ability to address a potential client’s needs in the context of our technology and operational capabilities;
  4. Absorb complex specifications and distill them into easily-digestible prose for potential clients; and
  5. Contribute at multiple procurement stages, including bid evaluation, win strategy development, proposal generation, interviewing, and contract negotiation.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in proposal management or business development within infrastructure, transportation, utilities, or engineering sectors
  • Proven success leading formal procurement efforts, including overseeing proposal generation, client communication, interview preparation, and contract negotiation
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling, and client-tailored content.
  • Highly collaborative team player who leads by example, stepping up where needed and supporting others in achieving shared goals
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and use of sales operations and enablement tools (e.g., HubSpot, Enablix)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a liberal arts discipline (e.g., English, history) is preferred; advanced liberal arts or business degree is a plus

Salary Range: $106,000 - $150,000

Location: Remote, EST Preferred
