The opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead Billing & FInTech integrations for our Omnichannel Fulfillment division. As the Sr. Product Manager for Billing & Fintech Automation, you will own the financial engine that powers our logistics ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for transforming complex logistics events into seamless, automated financial transactions. Your goal is to build a billing infrastructure that is as fast and reliable as our physical supply chain.

Why this challenge matters:

Billing is often the last thing companies think about, but it’s the first thing customers notice when it goes wrong. By automating the "Fin" in "Fintech Logistics," you are directly impacting Flexport’s bottom line and removing the friction that holds global trade back.

You will:

  • Vision & Strategy: Define the multi-year roadmap for billing automation, revenue recognition, and fintech integrations within the Fulfillment sector.
  • Complex Logic Modeling: Translate intricate logistics contracts and pricing models into scalable code-driven billing logic.
  • Fintech Innovation: Explore and implement automated payment solutions, credit management, and real-time financial reporting for our global customer base.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Sales to ensure that every "shipment out" results in an accurate "invoice out" with zero manual intervention.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure 100% accuracy in financial data flow between our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.

You should have:

  • Experience: 5+ years in Product Management, specifically within Fintech, SaaS Billing (ERP/Quote-to-Cash), or Logistics Tech.
  • Systems Thinking: You can map out how a physical action in a warehouse triggers a financial event in a ledger.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of APIs, SQL, and financial reconciliation workflows.
  • Problem-Solving Grit: Logistics is messy. You need the ability to find elegant, automated solutions for edge cases and "broken" data.
  • Communication: The ability to explain complex financial logic to a software engineer and high-level business impact to a CFO.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in complex, regulated industries (Logistics, Fintech, Healthcare, etc.).
  • Experience owning a product roadmap and delivering measurable business impact (e.g., revenue growth, efficiency gains).

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with NetSuite, Stripe, or high-volume transactional billing systems.
  • A background in 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) or E-commerce fulfillment.
