The Senior Content & Audio Producer is a key member of the Academy Customer Team—whose collective aim is to deliver exceptional and seamless customer and learner experiences over the life of the Academy. The Senior Content & Audio Producer role is critical to ensuring Guild’s Academy clients achieve their desired outcomes, drive best-in-class learner engagement, and feel inspired and delighted over the life of the Academy engagement—leading to customer retention and driving long-term customer loyalty. This role will also ensure that the Guild Academy team and product continue to innovate and explore what’s possible as it relates to audio and podcast-based content.
This role has two main responsibilities:

Supporting our Academy clients through the creation of high-impact story-driven content—both audio and text-based and generally supporting the learning design through launch process with Academy clients, as needed

Creating and executing an external facing podcast that elevates the Academy brand, builds market credibility and positions Guild Academy leadership as credible thought-leaders in the learning space
Key Responsibilities
Creating Audio & Written Content for Client Programs:

Research clients and synthesize client materials (including client resources, relevant interviews and design calls) to deeply understand and absorb client voice, tone, style, vocabulary and overall culture in order to translate those elements into written and/or audio elements of our learning programs

Understand client and learner needs and how the written and audio elements will interact with other content elements in order to bring the learning experience to life for learners in line with client needs

Support client interactions: join select meetings with a senior partner, capture requirements/nuances, and present drafts when appropriate

Work with the client-facing Academy team and clients to identify, source, and secure high-impact storytellers, ensuring a diverse range of compelling content aligned to learning goals for each Academy client

Lead the creation of story-driven learning content, including occasionally conducting high-stakes, conversational interviews with influential leaders to uncover untold and impactful narratives for learning content (podcast and/or filmed interviews), when needed

Guide or directly execute audio editing, transforming raw interviews into concise, polished materials that serve as core elements of learning modules, when needed

Write clear, engaging content that inspires learners, explains complex ideas simply, and contributes to business/learner outcomes (using defined metrics and feedback to iterate)
Academy Podcast Creation & Support:

Support the creation and execution of a Guild Academy podcast

Work with key members of the Academy leadership team to develop the strategy for the Guild Academy podcast to balance the thought-leadership, sales, and marketing needs of the podcast

Research, cast, and manage the day-to-day operations of the Guild Academy podcast

Guide or directly execute audio editing of the podcast
Ways of Working

Use AI tools responsibly within established guardrails; apply approved prompts/templates, document usage, and flag quality or confidentiality concerns

Collaborate with the Academy content production team to ensure timelines are met, client learning objectives are fulfilled, and learners are inspired, engaged, and delighted by the purposeful use of video content that enhances all aspects of the Academy engagement.

Follow processes: maintain documents, version control, and metadata to enable easy updates and clear adherence to team processes and organization

Project manage your work: proactively estimate needs, meet deadlines, surface blockers early, and track task completion

Learn and improve the craft: contribute to the continued improvement of processes, workflows and content

Communicate proactively so work ships on time and in line with expected quality and focus, escalating risks and incorporating feedback efficiently, as needed
Experience & Qualifications
-
4+ years professional interviewing and/or podcast experience (or equivalent portfolio) across varied subjects and audiences demonstrating an ability to conduct thoughtful and engaging audio stories

4+ years professional writing/editing experience (or equivalent portfolio) across varied subjects and audiences demonstrating an ability to write sharp, straightforward, compelling copy

Strong fundamentals in structure, clarity, tone, and copyediting within a production workflow

Familiarity with general business concepts, models, and org functions (e.g., HR, sales, marketing, CPG, retail, B2B)
-
Willingness to spend time self-educating on more technical or specialized business knowledge
-
Comfortable managing multiple deadlines, taking feedback, and working independently in a fast-paced environment with occasionally unpredictable pace of work
-
Experience using AI-assisted writing and production tools under guidelines

Proven ability to lead impactful interviews that elicit new and meaningful stories, especially in high-stakes (Expert) or technical contexts (Expert).

Strong creative (Expert) instincts to recognize narrative potential and craft cohesive, learner-centric stories from diverse sources.

Exceptional Project Management (Expert) skills, balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Technical proficiency in Audio Production (Intermediate) and Editing (Intermediate), with hands-on experience using professional tools to deliver high-quality content.

Strong collaboration (Expert) and team-centered mindset—willingness to collaborate across projects with other members of the production team including developing and continuously improving production workflows and systems—leveraging technologies and AI where helpful; meeting internal and external deadlines; and working together to support team members and best leverage all members' of the teams' unique skills

We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $110,000 - $120,000 and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.
