Guild is hiring a Sr. Credit for Prior Learning Associate. This role manages the end-to-end operations that enable Guild’s Credit for Prior Learning operation (Credit 4 X), including operating Credit for Training (C4T), articulation for onramp programs, and credit transfer and stackability initiatives, with the goal of reliable, accurate, and efficient scale.

This role is ideal for an operations generalist who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and enjoys building durable systems in lean, fast-moving environments. Domain expertise in higher education or the college credit landscape is helpful but not required; strong operational judgment, stakeholder management, and attention to detail are essential.

As Senior Credit for Prior Learning Associate, you will:

  • Be the overall operations engine for Credit for X. Own end-to-end C4T/C4X operational workflows, refine and document multi-tool processes over time, manage relationships with credit for prior learning stakeholders at our university partners, and experiment with tooling and AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead C4T packaging for employer trainings. Package, frame, and coordinate the transfer of employer training materials for university credit review, aiming for 10-15 packaging projects per year, to create C4T credit opportunity for learners.
  • Run Learning Partner stakeholder operations and communications. Manage onboarding, capacity tracking, coordination, troubleshooting, and operational communication for credit for prior learning work with universities. Serve as a polished, client-ready point of contact for Learning Partner stakeholders on operational matters and implement improvements that reduce friction for LP stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Manage our articulation/stackability ecosystem. Facilitate and document articulations, transfer pathways, and stackability workflows for Guild’s on-ramp to degrees ecosystem as an operator and executor, maintaining Guild’s source of truth for stackability and credit transfer tracking and reporting, and preparing systems to allow these programs to scale.
  • Own transcripting operations and escalations. Own transcripting operations and reporting, analyze data, and triage issues when needed and drive to resolution. Serve as connective tissue between C4X and other internal stakeholders to resolve issues holistically and at the root cause.
  • Drive process improvements across C4T/C4X operations. Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and increase throughput through better systems and AI-enabled workflows, and lead improvement efforts across C4T and related C4X operations.

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous environments and turn loosely defined problems into structured, repeatable solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with external partners or clients in a professional, detail-oriented capacity
  • Exceptional attention to detail paired with the ability to see systems, patterns, and downstream implications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Strategic application of AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual lift in content-heavy workflows, e.g., for synthesis, data analysis, etc.

Preferred Competencies

  • Skilled at improving operational processes and workflow documentation
  • Proven ability to act as a "first responder" for cross-functional triage/operational glitches, identifying the source of a problem and initiating next steps to solve
  • Ability to interact with data sets and produce basic analysis
  • Comfort experimenting with automation (e.g., workflows or custom "blueprints" in Asana)
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously with competing deadlines and different external stakeholders
  • Experience in higher education, credentialing, or regulated environments, and/or familiarity with how universities grant credit and/or evaluate competencies

We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $75,000 - $100,000 and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.

Posting Date: February 20, 2026
