The Opportunity

Guild is hiring an Product Management Intern. Guild is building the infrastructure that helps working adults access affordable education and coaching, changing the trajectory of their careers. This summer, you will join our product team for a 12-week internship (June 1 through August 21, 2026) and work on real problems that affect real people. You will help shape product experiences that reach members and partners, collaborate with a team that values thoughtful decision-making, and develop your product judgment in an environment where AI-native workflows are the default.

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, including university, bootcamp, and self-taught, who can demonstrate strong product thinking and a track record of building or improving products. Strong performers will be considered for a full-time Associate Product Manager role at the end of the summer.

This internship requires three days per week in-office at our Denver headquarters (parking and lunch are subsidized). If you’re not based in the Denver metro area but are still interested, a modest stipend will be available to help offset housing and travel costs. This role is not open to candidates on F1 or OPT Visa’s.

Here are the outcomes you will be expected to achieve:

  • Deliver meaningful product improvements and features, from problem definition through launch and iteration.
  • Develop practical fluency with Guild’s product ecosystem, including user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Build effective working relationships within your team, contributing to a collaborative environment and resolving ambiguity constructively.
  • Demonstrate strong judgment in prioritization and decision-making, including effective use of AI tools to accelerate product work.

Here is what you will do in this role to achieve these outcomes:

  • Define product requirements, write clear product specs, and support execution from concept to launch.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, aligning on priorities and contributing product perspective.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to build intuitive products that solve real user and business problems.
  • Analyze product and operational data to identify insights, inform decisions, and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct user research, gather feedback, and synthesize findings into actionable product changes.
  • Create and maintain documentation to ensure alignment and shared understanding across the team.
  • Seek feedback proactively and demonstrate a growth mindset throughout the internship.

You are probably a strong candidate for this role if you have:

  • Built or improved a product, feature, or experience because you identified a meaningful problem to solve.
  • Practiced using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to support research, analysis, or product workflows.
  • Analyzed a problem using data or user insights and can clearly explain your approach and learnings.
  • Worked on a team project where you communicated trade-offs or decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Here are the skills and competencies you have that will be needed to achieve the expected outcomes:

  • Product thinking: ability to break down problems, define user needs, and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Analytical skills: comfort working with data to inform decisions, measure outcomes, and iterate on products.
  • Systems thinking: understanding how product decisions impact users, business metrics, and technical systems.
  • Communication: strong verbal and written communication, including writing clear product requirements and aligning stakeholders.
  • Ownership and resourcefulness: proactive in navigating ambiguity, asking effective questions, and driving work forward.
  • Business curiosity: interest in how product decisions connect to user outcomes and company goals, with a bias toward understanding “why.”

We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $37- $43.00 / hour. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.
