Lime seeking to hire an experienced leader with a broad background in cyber security. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who has a background in both the engineering and operational sides of enterprise security. They should work with the Security team to define standards and best practices, partner with leadership to set priorities, and track key risk metrics. This person will be critical to improve our existing policy framework while ensuring proper governance and controls are maintained. They will have the opportunity to refine and expand the presence of Security in the daily activities of Lime employees, partner and lead strategic initiatives, and define critical processes to make Lime more secure.
The ideal candidate is part strategist, part leader, part builder, part operator. They are a true partner who can lead teams while developing consistent and reliable controls that enable Lime to continue to grow safely.
What you’ll do:
Refine Lime’s current approach to Security and implement a comprehensive security strategy
Oversee the security team, both Product and Corporate, and manage security operations in partnership with the Corporate Technology team
Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments, adding findings to the risk register and the team’s future roadmap for remediation
Ensure Compliance with industry regulations and standards
Collaborate with leadership across departments to promote a culture of security-awareness
Enhance processes and be accountable for reporting security incidents to executive management and the board
Manage security budgets and resources
Partner with Engineering to integrate security into the product development lifecycle
Partner to mature Third Party Risk Management by conducting threat modeling and risk assessments for external products
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security features
Monitor and respond to security vulnerabilities in Lime products
Develop and deliver security training for product and business teams
About you:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong business relationships with key stakeholders while adhering to company priorities
Strong data-driven decision-making skills, leveraging risk and performance metrics to drive improvements
A passion for continuously improving operational effectiveness while ensuring scalability and accessibility of IT core services and applications
Demonstrated capability in the timely delivery of project initiatives, achieved through a combination of experience-driven planning, hands-on work, and external vendor management
Strong leadership and management skills
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations

Ability to analyze and mitigate risks effectively
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of experience in product and/or corporate security and operations, minimum of 4 in leadership
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
Proficiency with Incident response and crisis management processes
Strong understanding of threat modeling and vulnerability assessment
Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies
Familiarity with product compliance standards (e.g., ISO, NIST)
