As an Account Executive focused on large, complex Enterprise Sales, you will play a crucial role in fueling PayNearMe’s growth by securing new business within 25-40 named accounts in the lending sector. You'll be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, leveraging your knowledge of payment solutions to meet and exceed sales targets. You will also participate in post-sale project meetings to ensure launch attainment for secured deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically expand PayNearMe’s presence within large accounts, focusing on the lending industry and adjacent sectors.
  • Engage in daily business development activities, including lead follow-up and targeted account prospecting.
  • Achieve and exceed bi-annual sales quotas, maintaining a robust sales pipeline through Salesforce.com.
  • Achieve and maintain attainment targets for launched accounts.
  • Master and maintain comprehensive knowledge of PayNearMe’s product suite, ensuring you can effectively address client needs.
  • Challenge prospects existing business processes and educate on new technologies to address legacy business pains
  • Identify key buying personas and ability to discuss relevant business challenges for each Lead team to effectively respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Provide feedback and market intelligence to our marketing and product development teams to aid in PayNearMe’s evolution.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, specifically focused on payments, with a strong preference for experience in the lending sector.
  • In-depth understanding of payment processes, solutions, and the regulatory landscape relevant to the lending industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in enterprise-level B2B sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and present effectively to high-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Experience with CRM systems, with a preference for Salesforce, including managing pipelines, forecasting, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with Challenger Sales Methodology or similar consultative sales approaches is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced and evolving team environments.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and the payments and lending sector.
  • Willingness to travel as required to engage with clients and represent the company at industry events.

The annual base salary range for this role represents PayNearMe's good-faith estimate of the base salary it reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of hire. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and work location. PayNearMe may offer compensation outside of this range in certain circumstances. This position will remain posted until filled.

$168,000$175,000 USD

  1. Identifiers and Professional or Employment-Related Information. The Company collects identifiers and professional or employment-related information, which may include some or all the following: real name, nickname or alias, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, membership in professional organizations, professional certifications, language skills, and current and past employment history. The Company collects this Personal Information to evaluate previous job performance and consider applicants for positions, to develop a talent pool and plan for succession, to conduct applicant surveys, to maintain an internal applicant directory and for purposes of identification, to promote the Company as a place to work, and for workforce reporting and data analytics/trend analysis.
  2. Personal Information Categories from Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e). The Company may collect categories of Personal Information listed in Cal. Civ.
