About the Role
Following a strategic assessment of our technical capacity, we are looking for an autonomous Technical Solutions Engineer to ensure the continuity of our Solid 5 and Solid WEB environments. This role is critical for bridging a current expertise gap in "Expert" functionalities, specifically for our legacy, on-premise, and Windows-based applications.
You will be the primary technical resource for customer migrations and high-level escalations, allowing management to focus on strategic initiatives while you safeguard our service delivery standards for the next 3+ years.
Essential Responsibilities

Migration Execution: Lead the mandatory framework migrations for Solid 5 customers, meticulously managing the technical work which requires approximately 4 hours (half a day) of dedicated effort per migration.

Technical Escalations: Autonomously manage complex L2 escalations to provide vital redundancy for technical issues that currently represent a "Single Point of Failure".

Issue Escalation & Jira Management: Identify, investigate, and escalate technical issues that cannot be resolved within the support tier by creating detailed Jira tickets for the product development team.

Database Investigation: Utilize advanced SQL proficiency for deep-dive troubleshooting, data investigation, and technical migration execution.

Infrastructure Management: Maintain expert-level oversight of Windows components and installation processes for on-premise legacy applications.

Functional Analysis: Apply specialized knowledge of transport driver wage calculations and infringement regulations to resolve complex functional queries.

Product Collaboration: Conduct investigations into recurring issues to provide actionable insights and support to the product team.
Experience & Qualifications

Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in SQL for data investigation and expert knowledge of Windows-based infrastructures and installation processes.

Relevant Experience: Previous experience in L2 technical support, specifically focused on supporting legacy, on-premise software environments.

Functional Knowledge: A proven understanding of wage calculations and infringement regulations specific to the transport industry.

Autonomy: Capacity to manage high-level technical escalations and complex migrations independently to provide necessary operational redundancy.

Communication: Professional fluency in both French and English is mandatory. Knowledge of Dutch is a significant advantage for supporting our local customer base.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.

Gross Salary:

Belgium: €42,000 gross per year

France: €33,200 gross per year
