At Stoke, we believe that a thriving space economy leads to a vibrant, sustainable, and equitable future here on Earth. That is why we are building our fully and rapidly reusable vehicle, Nova. It is designed to fly daily and solve the core challenges of space transportation – it reduces cost, increases availability, and enhances reliability. By radically lowering the cost and increasing the cadence of launch, we’re able to create a truly scalable space industry.

Our team is mission-driven, collaborative, and empowered with ownership of their work. If you want to work with some of the most dedicated and talented people on Earth, come join us.

Description

Reusable launch systems depend on fast, reliable execution across engineering, manufacturing, and operations. As Stoke scales toward rapid reuse, the systems that run the business must move with the same speed and precision as the rocket vehicle itself.

As the IT Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of critical enterprise systems that support how Stoke builds, tests, and launches reusable rockets. While a key initial focus will be supporting Stoke’s next-generation ERP platform and its integration with Boltline—our hardware-centric MES and system of record—this role will evolve over time. You will own and drive a portfolio of IT and enterprise software initiatives as Stoke continues to scale.

This role connects software systems, teams, and data flows across engineering and business operations, enabling teams to move faster with confidence. You will bring structure and momentum to complex, cross-functional efforts without introducing unnecessary process or friction. You will partner closely with software engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and external vendors to deliver solutions that are technically sound, operationally reliable, and aligned with how Stoke works today—and where we’re going next.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in deeply technical environments and understands modern system integration through APIs and data pipelines. You take ownership of outcomes, communicate crisply, and proactively manage risk across multiple concurrent initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of Stoke’s ERP program, from planning through go-live and stabilization
  • Integrate Boltline as the system of record within the ERP ecosystem
  • Own and execute additional IT and enterprise software projects beyond ERP, including new system implementations, major upgrades, and cross-functional tooling initiatives
  • Lead ongoing system changes and future enterprise software projects as Stoke evolves

This is a collaborative, execution-focused role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, engineering-driven environments and wants to directly impact how Stoke builds and launches reusable rockets. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and enterprise software projects, from planning and execution through launch and stabilization
  • Manage ERP implementation workstreams while balancing and coordinating parallel IT initiatives
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, risk registers, and communication plans
  • Coordinate integrations between enterprise systems, including ERP, MES, PLM, HRIS, finance tools, and other internal platforms
  • Track project progress, risks, and issues, proactively escalating when needed
  • Ensure change management, user readiness, and documentation are completed to support long-term operational success
  • Continuously improve project execution practices to better support a growing, high-velocity organization

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing IT or software-driven projects
  • Hands-on experience delivering ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, IFS, Infor, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of software integrations, APIs (REST/SOAP), data migration, and enterprise application architectures
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers and understand technical tradeoffs, dependencies, and constraints
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset with strong organizational and prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a software engineer, systems engineer, or technical program manager
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems via APIs, middleware platforms, or event-driven architectures
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, or hardware-centric organizations
