In this strategic leadership role, you’ll be responsible for building, developing, and scaling a high-impact team that partners closely with Sales to drive new business, expand strategic accounts, and showcase the value of our AI-powered analytics platform.
As the Director, you’ll own the technical pre-sales strategy for a critical and high-potential region, working closely with regional Sales leadership to align on goals, resources, and customer priorities. You’ll play a visible role in top deals, coach and grow your team, and ensure we’re delivering consistent, customer-obsessed execution from first call to technical validation.
What You'll Do:
Lead and scale the Solutions Engineering team for the North America East region, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
Partner closely with regional Sales leadership to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that support pipeline generation, revenue growth, and strategic account expansion.
Serve as a player-coach by joining key customer engagements to support discovery, demos, technical evaluations (PoC/PoV), and executive presentations.
Ensure consistent execution of our technical sales process, with a focus on delivering business value and differentiation.
Drive team readiness through onboarding, training, and enablement on both product capabilities and industry context.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Enablement, and Customer Success to bring customer feedback into the business and continuously improve the customer experience.
Track and report on key performance metrics, ensuring high levels of technical engagement and forecast support across your region.
What You Bring:
10+ years in Solutions Engineering or related technical pre-sales roles, with at least 4+ years in a leadership capacity.
Experience leading high-performing teams supporting enterprise SaaS, cloud, analytics, or data platform solutions.
Strong business acumen combined with deep technical credibility in BI, data warehousing, or the modern data stack (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to support and influence C-level stakeholders in complex sales cycles.
Proven success aligning pre-sales resources to sales strategy across large geographies or enterprise segments.
Passion for coaching, mentoring, and helping technical talent grow their careers.
Proficiency with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) and pre-sales metrics.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field (CS, Engineering, or similar preferred).
What Sets You Apart:
Prior experience building or scaling Solutions Engineering teams in a high-growth, startup-to-scaleup environment.
Familiarity with the unique needs of the NA East enterprise customer base, including Financial Services, Healthcare, or Public Sector.
Experience working in close partnership with regional or vertical-specific Sales GMs.
Strong change management skills and ability to lead teams through ambiguity and rapid evolution.
